NOTICE OF ELECTION

Election of Councillors to Seascale Parish Council

1. An election is to be held for the above parish of Seascale.
2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the Returning Officer at:

   Cumberland Council, Allerdale House, New Bridge Road, Workington, CA14 3YJ, during the times stated below.

3. Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer or appointed staff at the same address between 10am and 4pm on any working day (excluding bank holidays) up to 4pm on Thursday 24 April 2025.
4. Please make an appointment to submit your nomination paper by calling Electoral Services on 0300 373 3730.
5. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 22 May 2025.
6. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 6 May 2025.

7. Applications, amendments, or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 7 May 2025.

8. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 14 May 2025.

9. Applications to vote by proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 14 May 2025.

10. Applications to vote by emergency proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 22 May 2025.
