NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of Parish Councillor in the Parish of Seascale, following the resignation of Cllr Ian Tallentire.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held, if within fourteen days* of the date hereof notice in writing of a request for such an election is given to The Returning Officer, Cumberland Council by ten electors of the Parish of Seascale.

If no such notice is given, the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
