Car Park Usage Policy

Overnight Parking

Seascale Parish Council will allow any permitted vehicle to be parked overnight. Overnight occupation of vehicles is not permitted.

Camping

Camping is not permitted on Parish Council land, which includes tents, caravans or motorhomes.

Fires

Fires are not permitted on Parish Council land, including barbecues or gas cooking appliances.

Toilets

Toilets are for public use only. The emptying of chemical toilets is strictly prohibited on Parish Council land.

Special Events

Usage of the car park area for special events may be permitted subject to due consideration by the Parish Council. Requests should be submitted to theclerk@seascaleparishcouncil.co.uk

Vending

Use of the car park area for commercial purposes may be permitted subject to due consideration by the Parish Council. Requests should be submitted to theclerk@seascaleparishcouncil.co.uk

Traffic Management

Patrons are asked to respect the signs, and park within the confines of the spaces provided.

Large Vehicles

No tracked vehicles (except for maintenance) are permitted to use this car park or any vehicle likely to cause damage to the surface.

Payment

These facilities are paid for by the people of Seascale for the benefit of everyone. Donations towards this can be made by contacting theclerk@seascaleparishcouncil.co.uk for bank details, or cash deposited in the ‘Honesty Box’ by the exit.
